What is the arrangement fee?
It is a fee for the booking desk, paid in addition to the tour fee. It covers coordinating reservations and guiding you in English. It is ¥10,000 per person for Fujikawachi Gorge, and ¥5,000 per person for Takachiho Packrafting and Nanatsugama SUP.
Why is the Fujikawachi arrangement fee ¥10,000?
The Fujikawachi tour fee is kept at ¥10,000, so ¥5,000 of the ¥10,000 arrangement fee goes back to the local operator. The other ¥5,000 covers the booking desk.
Can I do the Fujikawachi Gorge canyoning tour as a day trip from Fukuoka?
It is about a 4-hour drive from central Fukuoka to the meeting point. The meeting time is 12:00, and the tour runs 5 hours from meeting to dismissal, with 4 hours in the water. Driving there and back adds about 8 hours, so the whole day is about 13 hours. Choose a day trip or an overnight stay depending on your stamina and your plans the next day.
What is the total price of the three tours?
Per person: Fujikawachi Gorge Canyoning ¥20,000 (tour fee ¥10,000 + arrangement fee ¥10,000), Takachiho Packrafting ¥21,500 (¥16,500 + ¥5,000), and Nanatsugama SUP ¥17,000 (¥12,000 + ¥5,000).
How long does each tour take?
Fujikawachi Gorge Canyoning (one-day) is 4 hours (5 hours from meeting to dismissal), Takachiho Packrafting is 3 hours, and Nanatsugama SUP is 2 hours.
What time do the tours meet, and how far is the meeting point from central Fukuoka?
Fujikawachi meets at 12:00, Takachiho at 9:00, and Nanatsugama at 10:00 or 14:00. By car from central Fukuoka, the meeting points are about 4 hours (Fujikawachi), about 2.5 hours (Takachiho) and about 1.5 hours (Nanatsugama) away.
Can beginners join the Takachiho packrafting or Nanatsugama SUP tours?
Yes, if you are in junior high school or older and are not afraid of water. You wear a life jacket, so non-swimmers can enjoy it too. Because the entry point is on uneven ground, it suits people who are comfortable walking over riverbeds and brush.
What should I wear for Takachiho packrafting and Nanatsugama SUP?
A swimsuit, shorts that can get wet, and sports sandals that hold your ankles in place.
What is included in the tour fee?
The tour fee includes rental gear and the guide fee. Transportation to the meeting point and meals are not included.
How do I pay?
Payment is by credit card only.
Is there a cancellation fee if I cancel?
If you cancel for your own reasons, the fee is 50% from 3 to 2 days before the tour, 80% the day before, and 100% on the day.
How soon will you reply to my booking request?
We reply within 3 days.
When can I book?
Booking is planned to open in March 2027, with tours running from May. We will let you know by email.
